Rayakan Hari Hutan Indonesia untuk Pelestarian Hutan

Tau gak sih kalau tanggal 7 Agustus merupakan Hari Hutan Indonesia? Yaps, jadi Hari Hutan Indonesia ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat mengenai pelestarian hutan di Indonesia. Apalagi, hutan kan mostly dihuni sama satwa liar, kalau hutan gak ada gimana, dong?

#KawanOwa udah tau belum gimana sih awal mula hari spesial ini bisa ada? Terus cara kita ikutannya, harus ngapain? Oke, kita bahas satu-satu ya!

Sejarah Dimulai dari Petisi

Jadi, awal mula bisa ada Hari Hutan Indonesia itu karena di tahun 2017 ada petisi yang diajuin sama Hutan Itu Indonesia (@hutanituindonesia) di situs web change.org, alasannya karena menurut data Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan di tahun 2017, ada sekitar 479.000 hektar hutan yang hilang gara-gara pembukaan lahan untuk industri, kegiatan ilegal, atau kebakaran hutan. 

Terus langsung ajuin petisi? Gak, dong! Pastinya udah dilakukan usaha dulu, contohnya kayak usaha penghijauan dengan menanam pohon. Tapi kan hutan yang hilang aja luas, jadi perlu waktu yang lama banget buat pulih kembali. Gara-gara alasan itu lah dibikin petisi ini. Petisi ini juga udah ditandatangani sama hampir 1,5 juta orang, lho. Akhirnya, tanggal 7 Agustus ditetapin jadi Hari Hutan Indonesia. 

Resmi jadi Hari Hutan Indonesia

Setelah resmi, hari hutan ini dipilih juga untuk mengingat kembali mengenai instruksi presiden, yaitu Instruksi Presiden RI Nomor 5 Tahun 2019 tentang Penghentian Pemberian Izin Baru dan Penyempurnaan Tata Kelola Hutan Alam Primer dan Lahan Gambut. 

Untuk merayakan Hari Hutan, tahun ini tema yang dipake, yaitu ‘Jaga Hutan, Jaga Iklim’. Gak cuma itu, kalian juga bisa pake hashtag #HariHutanIndonesia2023 dan #HutanAdalahJawaban di media sosial, lho!

Ide Kampanye
