Pelihara Owa Ungko dan Siamang, Pria Asal Lampung Tengah Ini Diringkus Polisi

Satuan Reserse Kriminal Polres Lampung Tengah mengamankan pelaku pemelihara satwa yang dilindungi an. AR (43), Dusun V RT 05 RW05 Kampung Sridadi, Kecamatan Kalirejo Lampung Tengah, Selasa (15/01/19).

Sesuai dengan Laporan Polisi LP/71-A/1/2019/Polda Lampung/Res Lamteng, tanggal 15 Januari 2019.

Pelaku ditangkap dirumahnya tanpa perlawanan. Mewakili Kapolres Lampung Tengah AKBP I Made Rasma, SIK., M.Si., Kasat Reskrim AKP Firmansyah SH, MH., menjelaskan bahwa telah mengamankan pelaku AR yang memelihara dan menyimpan satwa yang dilindungi yaitu 2 ekor owa siamang jantan (Symphalangus syndactylus) dan 1 ekor owa ungko jantan (Hylobates agilis) semuanya dalam keadaan hidup.

“Pelaku kami amankan karena memelihara atau menyimpan satwa yang dilindungi. Hewan tersebut dipelihara di dalam kandang yang terbuat dari bambu yang diletakkan dihalaman rumahnya di Dusun V RT 05 RW 05 Kampung Sridadi Kecamatan Kalirejo, Lampung Tengah”, ujar AKP Firmansyah.

Lebih Lanjut kasat Reskrim AKP Firmansyah SH. MH. berkoordinasi dengan Balai KSDA Provinsi Lampung untuk menitipkan satwa yang dilindungi tersebut.

“Pelaku AR untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya dijerat dengan Pasal 40 Ayat 2 Nomor 21 ayat 2 Huruf a UU RI Nomor 5 tahun 1990 tentang Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Hayati dan Ekosistemnya dengan ancaman hukuman 5 tahunPenjara, terang AKP Firmansyah SH., MH.
